For years, Kenya has introduced tax exemptions on sanitary pads to improve menstrual health and dignity. Yet, for millions of girls and women, especially those living in informal settlements and rural communities, sanitary products remain unaffordable.
On Tuesday this week, NAYA Kenya and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Kenya convened a stakeholder validation meeting in Nairobi City County to review and validate the Menstrual Health Fiscal and Regulatory Reform Report.
